Franks Front End LLC is a family-owned 2nd generation established auto repair business that has offered a wide range of automotive repair to the local community. When it opened its doors in 1967 it was just an old large wooden shed-like structure that was barely large enough to get one vehicle and an alignment rack inside. The eldest brother Butch own the property and sold off a piece of his land to his dad in 1968 so he could tear down the old wooden structure and build the new shop on the ground it sits on today. Their focus of repairs was just front-end alignments it first few years in business, then as the boys started to show interest in their father’s business, they expanded the into doing front end and under car work.

The oldest brother Butch started work with their father right after the construction of the new building part time in 1969-1972. He then quit his full-time job at Summit packing over by Manchester airport and went to work for his dad on a full-time basis. The middle brother Eddie started full time right around his older brother in 1972. Butch became the lead alignment guy while Eddie performed all the day-to-day business aspects such as answering phones, doing invoicing, and running the books. The youngest brother Joey was the last to come on staff after completing his technical college in 1976.

The oldest Brother Butch retired in 2006, and Eddie and Joey took the business over. They were a team of the dynamic duo. Each offered the best of their abilities to the other and took tremendous pride in all their work. Always willing to take the extra time whenever needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

It has remained a staple of the Manchester community of automotive shops. When anyone hears the name of “Franks Front End” in the local automotive world, it is known to be the best in the business for alignments. Since the sudden passing of his older brother Eddie on July 8th of 2022 Joey has had the task of running the business by himself with the help of his lovely wife Sandy. Joey is now looking forward to spending time with his family and friends during his retirement but will always be available to come by and lend a helping hand whenever needed.
